This pen has been laser engraved with an inscription that details the date of this magnificent achievement. Additionally, the Nepalese name for the mountain, Sagarmatha, has been incorporated in Nepali script into this beautifully balanced text.

This Limited Edition Pen is presented in a beautiful polished beechwood box, alongside a cut glass ink bottle with brass top and a gold-plated Legacy convertor. An exclusive commemorative booklet detailing the full history behind the ascent, and the legacy which Hillary and Tenzing left for climbers to follow in their footsteps. A certificate of authencity signed by Sir Chris Bonington will accompany each Limited Edition set.

This limited edition Sheaffer's Balance was made in an edition of 6000. The beauty in quality Design:
The lever, the Ball Clip design, and even the profile of the early fountain pens created by W.A.Sheaffer have been preserved in this commemorative edition.

Constructed from a solid brass rod with a layer of nickel plate beneath the 23 karat gold electroplate finish, it is a distinctive writing instrument with significant heft. An intricate scrolled pattern has been engraved into the surfaces of the barrel and cap.
The nib combines the two-tone beauty of 18 karat gold and silver-coloured palladium-plated chevron.

As the finishing touch, each pen's individual serial number and the W.A.Sheaffer pen Co. Pat. No. 896,861 are engraved near the lever.
The Balance Limited Edition fountain pen is packaged in a custom-designed presentation case lined with rich ebony satin, accompanied by a two ounce refill bottle of Skrip ink.
